I've never been reviewed before and I'm blushing. I do wish to address your comment "However, I hope you can write not-too-snarky entries, like travel tips or something positive about Morocco." I initially started this blog for my family because I'm too lazy to email everyone. It was also never my conscious intention to be overtly negative about Morocco but, on the other hand, I didn't want to write yet another stroke-fest about life here. I don't go out of my way to find things to gripe about - and I know that you don't suggest that - but the truth is, there is a plethora of "Isn't Morocco fabulous" blogs out there and I wanted to present something that dealt with the exigencies of living here. I am so tired of expats who buffer themselves with money waxing poetically about how amazing Morocco is and - omigod- have you seen the new fountain I just installed in my guesthouse? Anyone can go to Marrakech and have a great time - try applying for a carte de sejour. And in my defence, I have written a few positive blogs ... just probably not enough.
